Generation halls take shape as the summer build accelerates

Summer construction at AHI is at full pace. Structural steel is up on the generation halls, electrical rooms are advancing, and the first Rolls-Royce mtu packages are in place on their rails.

The sequence from here is energy first: gensets and mechanical, then the electrical and motor-control-centre energization sequence, then fibre and network, then hall fit-out. Milestones are published in the newsroom as they land.

Alberta trades are on site through each phase, hired locally first. The buildings are precast and sound-walled — an as-built design that goes beyond the modelled acoustic design.

First power remains targeted for 2027, with the first Secure Data Halls ready for racks and GPUs in the same year. A separate grid interconnection is in development.
